Opened in 2025 and led by Chef Manoj Rana and Chef Chandan Singh Rana, the restaurant brings together decades of global culinary expertise.

Chef Manoj Rana is a Gold Medal winner at the 2015 Culinary Awards in Dubai, with experience in internationally renowned kitchens including Burj Al Arab, Dubai, and The Taj Hotels, India.
Chef Chandan Singh Rana brings over 25 years of culinary experience, having refined his craft at iconic establishments such as Varq and The Chambers at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, and later leading kitchens internationally as Head Chef at Bhatti Indian Grill and Executive Chef at Moti Mahal Deluxe, New York City.

Drawing from regional traditions across the Indian subcontinent, the restaurant showcases locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce, reimagined through contemporary technique and thoughtful presentation.
Tamarind features two distinct spaces: a relaxed dining room with a warm and comfortable layout and subtle Indian-inspired accents throughout, alongside a lively bar and lounge offering crafted cocktails, fine wines, and top-shelf spirits. Private dining and full-service catering are also available for both on-site and off-site events.
Tamarind welcomes guests across three locations: Poughkeepsie, Nyack, and Newtown, Connecticut, bringing its signature experience to each destination.
